"We stayed for two nights with our two kids in a suite with a King sized bed and a sofabed. There were no extra pillows in the room for the kids. Two calls to the front desk were in vain and I slept w/o a pillow and woke up with a massive headache. The next evening, we returned to the hotel and were greeted with a large party in one of the banquet rooms (located directly under our room), playing eastern Indian music at wall shaking decibels. Once again, the front desk ignored calls and repeated visits to request that the volume be turned down. Apparently the hotel management cared more about the income from the birthday party than from it's guests. I would NEVER, EVER, stay or recommend this hotel to anyone, and would hesitate to even step foot in another Best Western if this is how they perform due diligence with thier quality control. You would be wise to remove them from your website since they are completely devoid of any service. We plan to send letters to Best Western with the hope of them cancelling any affiliation that they have with this hotel. To anyone considering using this hotel, DON'T DO IT!!"

"I stayed at this hotel while on a two week holiday tour of northern California with my wife and daughter. The main negative with this hotel concerns the complimentary breakfast. Offering a free Continental style breakfast is clearly in vogue at present and suited us well. We also had similar complimentary breakfasts at BW Exeter Inn and two Holiday Inn Express hotels (South Lake Tahoe and San Luis Obispo). The breakfast at BW West Sacramento was very poor in composition and presentation in comparison to the other three. Milk and serviettes were missing and equipment such as the fridge and the cupboards beneath were very dirty. I urge you to look at the Holiday Inn Express. They are doing an excellent job with such breakfasts and setting the standard. However, the quality at the BW Exeter Inn was also acceptable if not as good. I am submitting a separate feedback on BW Exeter Inn."

This location is also half a mile from the Port of Sacramento, one mile from Raley Field, two miles from the Downtown Plaza Mall and Sacramento River, three miles from Delta Queen Riverboat and the California State Capitol, six miles from Sacramento Park Zoo, seven miles from the Crocker Art Museum and Wells Fargo Museum, eight miles from Sutters Fort and Arco Arena, nine miles from the University of California in Davis, and 12 miles from Rancho Cordova.

Hotel amenities include the outdoor pool, outdoor Jacuzzi, landscaped courtyard, exercise room, complimentary continental breakfast, and 24-hour complimentary coffee. The hotel also offers laundry facilities, a business center, free weekday newspapers, 24-hour front desk service, and shuttle service to and from the airport and convention center (prior arrangements must be made with hotel directly 24 hours in advance for a fee).

All rooms feature cable TV, in-room movies, free local calls (under 30 minutes), dataports, high-speed Internet access, hairdryers, irons and ironing boards, coffeemakers, and safes.
